Today is the first day of school.. Lorenz his in Kindergarten 2 section Blue. He like going to school his always excited to see his classmates. As what Lorenz said he like to play to have fun and learn how to be good and nice to his classmate and making their teacher Adin happy. School , it is a stressing times. Because we have to wake up early in the morning. Many times I don't even haven't on my mind. School is good , the best for our children's future!

What happened to our world today! Exactly in the same mess( or worst). Did any of us during that time even dream that today we would hear the same cries of graft and corruption? Impeachment threats, impending coups and bombings that take innocent lives? Until when? The poor became more poorer. All things was increasing from rice to the gasoline.. All I can say , we pray us one nation we , too can implore, beg and ask for our nation to be saved again. To our leaders they will be guided.
Now we need a power greater then our President, a power greater than our Senators and our Congressman to lift us out of the depth of our despair. Sorry that I had to use that word. It's time to wake up and open our eyes! We rallied , and the priests and nuns rallied and the people rallied for a better Philippines. For our children's futures!
We have to ask his guidance . God benevolence, generosity, kindness and love for a prayerful nation surely will pull us out of our hopelessness if we but pray and ask for HELP!

Second day! How can parents make play work for their children, and for them too? We can play with our children at their early years. Playing is not just confined in a specific place or specific time. You can create a playful atmosphere in our daily activities like you can make a game out of counting or by pointing out colors and shapes. And provide a safe, clear space for play and make the play area your child's domain. Children would want to stop playing once they get tired or are hungry, Short , frequent playtime with your child may be the best.
Let your children play in their own way. Don't take over or over-supervise. They will became creative and they will be resourceful too.You may need to show them how to do some things sometimes but it's important to let your children came up with their own ideas.
We have to value our child's play. Appreciate and encourage their efforts, no matter what the outcome, to show and to feel them that they do a good job too!
Play is fun.right? Remember what fun means when we play with our children and we enjoy the moment or this special time with them. The world of toys and play that's what a child's happiness..

Last March 28 and 29 it was a day two day seminar , one of my friend inviting me to attend a for a seminar about parenting . I learned a lot , what I'm trying to say is that we have to play with our children with their business and concern meaning we will sometime act like a child too... What;s childhood like without play? Parents says "unimaginable" Indeed , play is the child's "work". right? We parents should know; we were children once, and part of what we are now was shaped by the kinds of games we played when we were young. Have you not noticed that some of the kids in the new generation they played different as what we have played before or what we have. They don't want to play out side because they more wants to play indoor games like play station or online game in the PC. We have to avoid that sometime. Play occupies a vital role in the child's development in there area: Balance and coordination through running, kicking , throwing balls and other physical activities.By playing they get along with others, and control their bodies while expand their minds and their talents and creativity. If your children hook up with that online games , play station and PSP etc.. they will not try to developing their physical growth. And how about your relationship with your children , the bonding. In that kind of games they can play with their online playmates "cyber friends".

Relationship skills and self-control: through sharing and taking turns at play. Moreover , play helps children: Just learn how to do things, express their feelings and that will teach them how to gain confidence become stronger. Because we parents we loved to helps our children to learn and develop well. That's why my son Lorenz I encourage him to play outdoor games with his friends not into the PC , maybe soon I will let him , but at his age today not now!

Summer season is coming. Lot's of kids are excited and they are already preparing for their summer vacation as early as today! Because if you preparing for your vacation it seem overwhelming , but if you do your preparation steps the process it will more easier to manage. Just like my sister Riza they are planning to have a summer outing at Bohol I told her try to figure out your budgets or anything what you're needed. I know most of your friends love beaches. Today, I have a nice day! Because I woke up around 10 a.m. Lorenz they don’t have class. Grade slips distribution. I told Lorenz this morning,I will not expecting…as long you still belong in average level, no prob. The schedule for grade slips distribution 3-4 p.m so we went there around 3:30 p.m. You know what; I was surprised because together with his grade slip the certificate of recognition been attached. He ranked seventh in Kinder 1 section blue for the third grading period. Last time second grading he didn’t make it! Now, never am expecting this!

Her teacher telling me Lorenz starting talking during class time sometimes he will not listen. I told Lorenz you should pay attention inside the classroom. I explain to him everything has a right time. As his award we went to his favorite place...McDonalds.

I’m so happy and proud of you son.

CAn Honesty Hurt a Relationship

Does honesty help a relationship or it hurts a relationship? This questionbothers many of us when it comes to revealing something serious. Shall I tell him/her about the last night? What if things go wrong? How to tell? What if I do not tell but he/she comes to know about it? So many questions hammer us when we want to hide truth. And revealing truth may be equally serious in our opinion. So what should be done?If we are not totally honest and open with our beloved, that means we are not sure about our relationship. That means that we do not have confidence in each other. That means that the relationship is fragile. Why worry about a relationship, which is fragile. Such a relationship will break for some or other reason.A strong relationship can take any storm. In a strong relationship, we are ready for some disagreement but know that ultimately things will be same as before. In a strong relationship we are totally open with each other. We tell everything to our partner and are sure that no break-up will occur. Such relationship gives joy.If you hide something from your partner you will always suffer from the guilt and worry about hat if he/she gets to know about that. That is not a happy relationship. Such relationships causes tress, rather than giving any pleasure.To get pleasure, have confidence, tell your partner everything about your past,and expect that they will not only understand but also comfort you about that. That is the sign of a open and strong relationship. There is another way out. Draw boundaries and agree about them with each other. I may do something in this area but you have no right to know about that. If such an agreementis drawn and agreed upon by the partnersmany problems get solved. But this kindof relationship is not close. Have yourchoice about what you want to do.

How’s your Valentines Day? It’s a showery date for all of us! Me and son Lorenz we went to the mall after his school. We’re having a date also. At the mall as I observe lot’s of lover’s and families spending or celebrating the Hearts day. Some they are having their dinner and some waiting for their dates or partners. My son he ate chicken at his favorite place at McDonalds. As we about to go down I saw these lover’s they are quarreling, as what I have heard the guy came late. They have loud voice, in the escalator...We just roaming around. The most viable item is the flowers and chocolates. The most common gifts for Valentines.

Way to the terminal, it’s raining! Inside the jeepney again, in our frontage one lover’s they are arguing. You know what’s their problem? The guy is late and girl been standing there in their meeting place but he didn’t see his girl friend standing or waiting. I said in my mind. What aA? Hello, what day is today LQ day! The guys are having a problem, their girls keep them waiting. Oh my god, not me! Because I can’t wait for that long…NO..no..no :D

whaaaa...worst!!!

I can’t take this anymore it’s getting worst. My left eye…whaaaaaa I wake up early this morning oh my God! It pops already. Because last night I wait my sister she buys the medicine (Decilone forte and EYE MO).I was not able to take. This time not only me and my bro Harold also my son and my mom. I’m afraid for my son because he has an exam for their last subject Math! I think for two days I was not able to grab any opportunities because my eyes is getting straining. L I can’t stay long…

Sore eyes!

Peace man! Piskat! Red Alert! My first time ever I got this sour eyes from my brother Harold. Last night my left eye is so itchy I didn’t rub it because it might get irritated. When I woke up this morning I feel a little pain in my right eye and when I saw my self in the mirror whaaaaaaaa all the morning star covered my eye. ewwwwwwwww I don’t want THIS!! I take shower early in the morning and take note I have to take my son to their school. I wear my sunglasses. I call for a rescue because I remember before in the institution we have medicine for anti bacteria for the eye I called Terry and she advise me to take medicine (m…forte I forgot) hehehe at this moment my right eye is so red one thing I only pray it won’t pop! I’m sure that’s so painful popping eye. I really don’t feeling better. Grrrrrrrrrr Bad timing because now a days it’s a examination week for my son Lorenz.

And I feel sad also this morning one of my tasks that I was posted last Jan 17 they rejected. And I about to repost they are already deleted But I don’t lose hope even though my internet connection is very slow , still hopping more and more opportunities. Slowly but surely...

Vesperas 2008

Vesperas…It’s a big celebration in Cebu City tomorrow. Foreigners, balikbayans, and locals were overwhelmed. Rain or shine the devotees followed the solemn procession. A great number of devotees are waiting the holy image at the sidewalk.

The many items sold at these fairs are accessories, bags , home decors, furnitures, footwears, clothes, fabric and even foods.

Now I'm a wife and a mother . I never though I could feel this loved until I became Mrs.Connor. Bebe you made this year and every year the best one of my LIFE..I can smile my new life my marriage. For me this is my fulfillment. It is nice to hear to be called Mrs..for us woman everything will be new, our last name and our hobbies. Now I have to learn a lot more how to deal my hubby Eric. Anyways we just started. We have to understand each other. Me I'm been single mom for six years and Eric his been alone for almost three years. So meaning we are not used too. Specially him being alone he will do what he wants to do also he is not used to have company in the house. As what I told him it takes time for the three of us Lorenz ,Eric and Me...Marriage is like plant it has to be watered in order to grow. We have to give and take.As what Eric's favorite song " say what you need to say".. meaning if i have some problem or I feel upset I have to speak out! Communication is important. Anyways we are both in learning process.

ninth day novena

I went to Basilica del Sto. Nino, an old church here in cebu. My son and my sister are with me and attended the ninth day novena mass in preparation for the upcoming fiesta on this sunday.

It was really an awe to see lots of people attended the novena. I t shows that many are devotees.

After the holy mass, there was also a dance shown from different contingents which is an offering for the dear Sto. Nino. The dance is called Sinulog which is a dance of gratitude for plentiful blessings received all through the year.

Sunday! What shall I do? Well, I clean our room changing our bed cover and the pillow case. After cleaning, I wash some of our laundry. I feel hungry, thanks to my mom she already cook for our lunch: D for our lunch I eat “tawgi” it’s a mongo steam. Wow that was good! Yumm..yumm. This afternoon we went to Basilica del Sto Nino with my parents, Lorenz, Riza and cousin Rhona.It was the fouth day of novena. At the church there are lot’s of devotees attending the 4:00 p.m mass. Then as what Lorenz said “si Lorenz ay gigutom na” I want to eat chicken joy. Go...to Jollibee! Cire called just to say Hi. I stay late just to study why I can’t post my task I don’t know how or what’s wrong .hooohaah L Somebody help me!

Reminiscing

I received a text from Taiwan. My friend named Emily she feels bored. Well, Marfe to the rescue. go on-line ;) And it’s so funny, I’m chatting with my co workers in Taiwan before. And it seems a reunion with us because with Mae and Eva I don’t have any idea what’s their life after Taiwan. Because of Emily, Jinggay and the technology things happen. Reminiscing the time we’re in Taiwan. Hopefully we will meet soon guys. I’m talking to my dear friend named Gary also. I let my friend talk to him and Emily fined him a nice and a good looking man especially he will shave: D oh yeah! Anyways he don’t believe me…it’ok! with Mae for I though she don’t remember me anymore.hehehe she have some problem with her love life. I told them look at me after 5 year I’m still a single.hahaha Nope just because I been thru that feelings already or maybe I learn some lesson on it!!!...come what may.

Salad for my meal

Today I am having salad made with cucumber, egg,tomato. I guess the idea is if you're gonna eat healthy, you might as well get some exercise too. For the start I have to control myself not to eat some salty like junk foods etc...and of course no..No cola as of now! just plain water and more water.

It’s Friday and it’s novena of Senor Sto Nino. I hope I can still attend the 2nd day of novena. This coming January 20 is the fest of the Sto Nino. Lot’s of people from south to north they will be coming just to celebrate. Even the foreigners they enjoy the festival. It’s a cloudy Friday today hope it won’t rain this afternoon. I'm the chef for today i will cook "linat-an baboy" hope I can do it! because sometimes my mom won't appreciate some of my cooks. Well, as a mom again I have to prepare some food for Lorenz. My friends call me but they can't get thru it to the line because I'm using the internet. Anyways wish me luck.hehehe

This year I want to get into shape. I try diet and of course all the exerciselike set ups , using the gmy ball and walking but it wont work out with me.I feel that was so hard to do everyday. I have plan to cut my hair because it's getting dry and dry. Since I have a circle shape of my face I let my beautician who will fix or the style of my hair that will fit my shape. Because she told me if I have a square face the benefits from a chin length bob that ends in a soft flip or gentle wave. Adding emphasis to the cheekbones and the middle section of the face helps a lot.Bangs are a great solution. Now a days I try to shape up for my diet in the morning I eat oatmeal for my lunch one cup of rice and for my supper oatmeal again but I drink lot of water. One of my friend advice me How to shape this year? She share me her secrets try to 'step up' exercise to tone your calves. Stand on the stairway on the balls of ur feet but the rest of your foot. To balance yourself, use a wall. Slowly rise on toes as high as you can & hold for 3 secs. Lower calf muscles to push yourself up & down. Ok! thanks friend i will try this everyday anyways I dont have a work yet , so why not to shape up so that feel wow looking wow!!

This morning I received a call from my friends. And it's been a long time I don't have any news with this girl because her hubby arrived from nowhere...hehehe joke! abroad. Bernadette text me she invited me at ate Grace place we have a little get together before she will leave this coming 5th of Jan going to Spain. We went there with my son Lorenz. After a Long time

Welcome 2008! It's January 2nd and I'm thinking what will gonna happen for this year. I don't make any new year's resolution because I'm afraid I can't make it! But I will try my best to change or whatever...with God's guidance of course. :) Hope and pray much better this year and also I can find a good job. It's a raining Wednesday morning and I feel cold. Nothing to do but sleep and sleep zZz the whole afternoon.hehehe when I woke up this evening I feel good and fresh. I try to great one of my co-worker before in Taiwan named Eva she's in Australia. Then suddenly she give me her ym account , we chat...we exchange questions because it's been a long time after in Taiwan we didn't able to talk or even sending emails. Now we made some schedule so that we can continue of communication.
