what a nut'!

This is the machine for getting a peanut sample. At first I'm afraid to operate because you have to move forward ,sidewards and I have to balance my body also. It's my first time to work this kind of job..dirty job!!! It's so dusty and red dirt from the peanuts. I enjoy though..In a few days we're done with this job..end of the season! Back to normal , I'll be jobless and home alone again..lol

first day!

I have a job and today is the first day! I woke early this morning to make it sure Lorenz his also ready for school and Eric he take day off today because his not feeling good! My mother in law she came by here in our house she take me a ride to my work. And she introduce me to Miss Dayan and some of the farmers..As of now we are only 3 workers, I'm working as a sampler and it's kinda scary because I have to go up and operate that machine to get a sample peanut using that tube! That machine I have to move backward, forward, and sidewards . Because there are certain pattern that I need to follow I need to move that machine 5x for one trailer each! I messed up 2x.
We have 1 hr. break (lunch) Only for today I have my "private driver" (lol) He cook for our lunch.
THis afternoon I'm all by my self before I start to pray to Mama Mary that she will guide me and protect me from harm.. I take a deep breath and I start my work..I have to be focus..of course first day they have to understand. I'm so worried because I don't have experience that kind of job! Well, anyways I'm still learning..hehe We will be back on Monday maybe it's gonna be a long day for us..Maybe tomorrow I will buy a face mask because it's so dusty.

So tonight I need a body massage my legs and my back is hurting.. :(

The peanut festival at Plain Ga. It was my first time to attend a festival here in GA and it was not what I'm expecting because for I though it was a long parade(wink). Maybe because Plain is a small town..but anyway we enjoy their festival , not only that they also celebrating the birthday of their beloved Jimmy Carter, but his bday is on Oct 1st..And also there are some company's joining them celebrating the Peanut festival and they are also giving some sample with their product like the Jif Peanut Butter, Georgia Peanuts, Planters , Snickers and much more. It's so crowded of people!
I have my leg cramps and menstrual cramps ever time I saw a bench I have to sit down. So we decide to go home...Anyways, Lorenz he have some birthday party to attend. When we arrived I derictly go to our bed and take a nap while waiting for Eric..It was a long day!

Today Eric he take day off because we have an appointment for Lorenz teacher Mrs. McCullough. Regarding Lorenz grades in Social Studies and Science..Mrs.McCullough said about the Social Studies and Science she only introduce the basic . Just to give ideas what's Social Studies all about! Mrs. McCullough said that she don't let the student bring the social studies book at home because they don't have enough book at school , in fact the student they share book at the class.. she think that Lorenz he can coped up because his doing good already , he got high score in Science , Social Studies and Math at their pop quiz! Now we know her way of teaching the student...

This morning I woke up early because I have to cook the dumplings that I made last night for Eric's lunch. I woke up Lorenz...So since I woke early today and I have appointment with my mother in laws later I will help her cleaning in their house , so while waiting I decided to take a nap and I set my alarm clock too. GUESS what? I have a bad dream! This is the second time that I have this kind of dream, very wired!! In my dream the house is too dark and see outside at the house their are 4 people and 1 kid they are doing something..when i try to peeping in our kitchen window..I try to hide and I crawling down into our bed room. On my husband dresser I saw a mirror and the reflection I saw on that mirror..ME lying on our bed..been crying and crying..on my mind I have to go back to my body! When I trying to go back it won't anymore i touch my feet it's already cold and I said to myself I'm already dead!!! I cried so much..and Thanks God I woke up..alive!!!

Maybe it's not my time yet..maybe I have a mission :D

Beautiful Sunday! Nothing to do I woke 10 A.M. Eric and Lorenz they already ate their breakfast the cinnamon roll. Eric he want to change oil and he will do that at his dad shop.. we went there..Chitchatting with my mother-n-law, Lorenz his nothing to do or play with because Austin , Eric nephew his also grounded because of their grades they are not doing good at school!
Eric finished changing oil he help his dad to get the hay to the other side of their farm..Lunch, my mother in law she prepare turkey sandwich and a hot dog ! My father in law asked me if I'm ready for the exam tomorrow for that peanut job! :D I don't know, will see because I'm so clueless about the job!! training wheels off!

Saturday afternoon when we we're at my friends place, her boy's Cruz and Nathaniel with their daddy they targeting shooting a cans. And her comes our son Lorenz his wants to try also. Eric he let Lorenz try..he hits the can!
The kids they been playing, riding their bike, poor Lorenz he don't know how to ride a regular bike yet, because his still using with the training wheels. With the help of Nathaniel he let Lorenz try..'til he knows how to balance his body.
Sunday afternoon Lorenz he feel so bored and he decide to ride his bike and his keep asking to take the training wheels off! Eric he let Lorenz practice with out the training wheels now..since then he knows how to balance his body..We're so happy for him, because his so eager to learn!

What a wonderful Thursday morning it's nice outside..I walk to the store just to buy ice cream..unfortunately they don't have Black Walnut flavor anymore but they have Lemon flavor.toink! :( When I got home Eric called me just to inform that he called the school, while I'm talking to Eric on our house phone my mother-n-law she was on the other line..she invite me to come with her at Americus..shopping! Around 12nn it seems I'm melting to death it's too hot plus the car of my mother-n-law there's something wrong it wont cold enough inside. OMG!our way home my head start aching..When I arrived I don't have the chance to take a nap, because we will watch Bardon's game (football) they won again Pelham 36-0..
Anyways, it was not a good night for me. I'm reading the manual and I knew it why I have a bad headache because of the Carbon Monoxide..why i said that's the cause because I'm been yawning and I feel nausea inside my mother-n-law vehicle. To avoid this ( don't operate the heater or air conditioner in a parked car with the windows closed.

Monday I received my SS# and this time I have to be serious about my driving lessons and reviewing the driving manual, because my husband Eric he decided to buy a new cars.So that I can go where ever I wanted to be or if I got a job I can drive with my own car. Sunday morning..We don't have any agenda yet! Eric preparing food for our breakfast..it's a breakfast burrito.yummy! Eric decided to go out in the house..we went to Columbus at Heritage Park. It was a nice place but , nobody taking good care of it anymore. It is a historic park of Columbus.. It was a long day and bad day..Anyways, finally I bought another bag and jeans..(wink) it was a shopping galore I spend all my money that I earned from my mother-n-law. Well, it's ok I need those things also it doesn't matter..hehe

movie fanatic

Rainy Friday morning. Now I have my new routine before cleaning the house..checking our virtual farming at FB .. since then we become a fun!! I'm also watching the Filipino movie "FOREVERMORE"by Kristine and Jericho at pinoysabroad.org. The movie is all about the "alamat"..they do believe that if the two people who really love each other 'til the end..the mango will became sweeter as sweet as their relationship..Oh, yesterday I watch Sharon and Judy movie "Magkapatid" Sharon played the older sister of Judy..Sharon is an OBGYN doctor and her sister Judy she get married as early age she have 2 boys.Sharon she have only 1 son (Justin) they are so happy family she supported Judy all the way. When Sharon lose her son..her life been miserable. Because she can't get pregnant anymore...it was kinda drama movie but we can learn something also..hehe
I'm not into drama movie..(lol) my mother in law called she sound good..checking if I'm fine. Thanks mom! It's weekend once again..we don't have plan yet..but I wanted to spend some of my $$ that I earned from my...buy personal things! will see :D

major cleaning

Yesterday I am so tired. I help my mother in laws cleaning in their house, because the lady who always cleaning in their house she's already old she can't do it anymore. So since my mother in law she has an allergies(dust). Every now and then they need to vacuum the carpet and do dusting dust off. Sunday she asking me to help her, no prob I'm willing to help.It's the major cleaning or the make over.. :D I started cleaning around 9:30 A.M. with lunch break until 3 P.M... all my sweat I'm been sweating..I think this the best sweat I ever had as in all the way!!! But I like it though and even though I have my cramps. As what my father in law said "now I finally see the room"(lol) When I arrived I have to cook for our supper and i don't know what to cook! Since Eric cook rice the other day I grab the ground meat.

I always telling him even though we don't go the church"Catholic" always remember God is in your heart just close your eyes, he always there for you to guide and protect. Like last year I feel so nervous because they have to take an exam just like in Ph the NSAT..That time his in the stage of adjustment because we arrived here in the state Nov 2008 the exam on March. He don't have enough time to cover up what he was missed because they accept him..1st grade which is he's K2 in the Ph. But with the help of their teacher he easily adjusted. I always told him, pray to God and of course listen to your teacher. It's rally different... His in 2nd Grade...he still need to work on recognizing sight words, as well as reading and spelling list. I let him read every night, actually his also borrowing books and DVD movies here in our public library.

Football season. We watch Brandon game. The game started 7:30 P.M , there's an admition ticket for adult it cost $5 and for the Kids $3.It was a rainy Friday afternoon , when we arrived on that place the rain stop, we're so lucky! ;D
It was my first time watching Brandon's game. I never though it will take for a while because it's almost past 8 P.M. Friday night lights flash on the crowd. The Bodcats score 14 points..the people , family and friends stomping their feet, it's time for Victory.

The next game it's on Sept 3,thursday around 5:00 P.M (home)

What a cloudy Friday morning.What I'm been up to for the past few days? busy farming at farmville!(wink) Anyways,I'm now on the front of the computer waiting for more opp, as early as I can. Hoping to grab some for today..hehehe And while waiting I'm watching movie at justin.tv , ebenta.com and pinoysabroad.org. Monday I'm so lucky I was able to watch the new movie of Bea Alonso with actors Derek Ramsay and Sam Milby. "And I love You So.." Even though the copy of that movie is not that clear and also the audio is horrible, but I'm so thankful to the people who broadcast/played that movie.. I have the chance to watch it! It was a nice and a drama movie..try to check out!

I talk to my mother in law yesterday she said they about to go back at St. George Island because she loses her voice again.. I feel sorry to her because she do anything and everything just to feel better she try all the remedies but not effected. She really need to stay near the sea shore so that she can inhale the breeze. But the problem is, it's already the season for the hurricane!!

I just watched the burial of the former president Cory Aquino and as a Filipino, i remember the life of a great woman (aside from my mother) ; ) who used yellow to signify herself. She was the Asia’s first female president and the Philippines’ 10th head of the nation. who strongly supported of democracy and women’s rights.
I too mourn for her death because she was the inspiration of the Filipinos to have the courage for freedom and democracy. And so, we are renewed. She is etched in the history and of course will be in our hearts.
I hope for more leaders like her who can truly serve the nation and amid all the adversities will set upon but still remains steadfast in devotion and belief.

I'm sad this morning because I received a bad news from my sister Riza. Because the mother(nanay) of my friend jenny dies yesterday, sad to heard . As what my sister told me she was admitted at Cebu Doctors Hospital Saturday because of heart attack. My sister asking me to call my friend jenny, to comfort her...I'm so sorry of what happened to her mom, if I have a chance I will try to call her later. I will pray for the soul of your nanay she may rest in peace.

Finally we received Lorenz social security card..mine I have to wait 2-3 weeks because they have to verify all my documents.Thanks God after all the hardship we been through with the USCIS we made it! So my next step is to review the driving manual, hopefully sooner or later I will take the written exam :P So that I can proceed to my 3 step which is looking/searching for a JOB!! But we know now a days it's so hard to find one..so I have to grab any kind of job as long it's legal :P

Back to School

Back to school kids! Today is the first day of school for Webster County. Our son Lorenz he woke up around 7 A.M. He rides the school bus..Meh, back to normal home alone! But this morning I'm talking to my sister Riza. Maybe later I will start reading my driver's manual. This time I'm gonna be serious about it because I'm really eager to learn how to drive. Hopefully I will understand what I'm reading.. (winK) On Monday my friend Kenia she will teach me again how to drive..I need to focus because last time I'm so confuse with my feet..the break & gas!

clogged up

I have problem with our kitchen sink is clogged up! I tell my hubby about it so that he can fix! Last night I help Eric ,he bought a clog remover, but it wont work out.. . This morning he try to called dad if they have some equipment to drain the pipes..Eric he try to bought this liquid fire it's like a clog remover also but this kind of liquid is so strong..hopefully this can help to drain the pipes.
I'm a little sad because my opp was been reject I don't know I try to click the link and it's working..ambottttttt!!! I will cross my finger i hope this time... :D

It was a nice place. We stay at the Gulf View Campground and mobile home park. My mother in law they rent at that place for $350/month. She said they pick that place because that's the cheapest one. That island they called the "oyster city". Down on that bridge early in the morning you can see many boats and some people do fishing also.

This morning we woke up so early because we are going to Albany. Finally we got our green card so now we have to get or apply for our Security Card/number. We left home with out taking anything for our breakfast, so we stop at McDonald's. We have biscuit & sausage plus hash browns. :) We arrived at the Social Security office 8:40 A.M. It was so quick because when I was in the rest room I heard our number so I was not able to finish..I run rush to the window 11. The lady who was their she don't know yet how to do..as what she said it's her first time. Anyways, her co-worker help her. We done about 9:30 A.M. so Eric bring as at the Flint River Aquarium. There are many kids it's so crowded..But we really enjoy it!
